Hotel reservations

Hotel reservations are to be made in advance via the online registration form in order to benefit from the special conference rates. All hotel reservations will be subject to availability.

We advise you to make your hotel reservation when registering to the conference via the online registration form. However, if you wish to make the reservation later, please, contact Tavicon Ltd for further assistance.

All prices are per room per night including breakfast and VAT. All the rooms are non-smoking and have a Wireless Internet connection. If you must cancel your reservation, see the cancellation and refund policy below.

Possible cancellations or changes to reservations should be made in writing by e-mail or fax with TAVI Congress Bureau at sls2014@tavicon.fi or +358 207 701 201.

Hotel deposit

To guarantee your hotel reservation, a deposit of one night's room rate is required in advance together with the conference fee. The deposit will be forwarded to the hotel and it will be deducted from your final hotel bill when checking out.

If you are two people sharing a double room, you both indicate the reservation on the registration form but only one participant needs to pay the hotel deposit, the other participant voids the deposit by ticking the option "I share a previously reserved double room". Please remember to indicate on the registration form the name of the person you are sharing a room with.

Cancellation and refund policy

Kindly note that all cancellations and/or changes to registration and accommodation must be made in writing to TAVI Congress Bureau by e-mail: sls2014@tavicon.fi or by fax: +358 207 701 201.

If a cancellation for the participation and/or hotel reservation is received by 15 July 2014, the conference fee will be refunded with the exception of a handling fee of EUR 50 and the hotel deposit will be refunded with the exception of a handling fee of EUR 20. No refunds of the conference fee or hotel reservation can be made for cancellations received after 15 July 2014. Please note that noshow does not constitute cancellation.

In a case of no-show, there will be no refund of the conference fee or the hotel deposit. There is no extra fee if a registration is transferred to a colleague from the same organization.

Solo Sokos Hotel Tammer

Hotel Cumulus Pinja

The Cumulus Pinja is an Art Nouveau style hotel close to the city centre. Distance to Vapriikki: 5 minutes' walk. Address: Satakunnankatu 10 Price EUR 105 single room EUR 130 double room

Hotel Cumulus Koskikatu

Hotel Cumulus Koskikatu is situated by the Tammerkoski rapids in the centre of the city. Distance to Vapriikki: 10 minutes' walk. Address: Koskikatu 5 Price EUR 110 single room EUR 135 double room

Hotel Kauppi

A cosy hotel about 1 km from the city centre. All rooms have microwave ovens and refrigerators in addition to the normal amenities. Distance to Vapriikki: 15 minutes' walk. Address: Kalevan puistotie 2 Price EUR 79 single room EUR 99 double room
