ETUD-Plugin - [OBSOLETE] A plugin for web browsers that makes simple gaze-tracking available in JavaScript. Uses ETU-Driver to stream gaze data into web-pages when browsing with most popular browsers: Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari recognize it automatically, also IE 7/8 supports NPAPI-based plugins. It is advised to use Google Chrome because it has the best memory management policy: the browser never crashes if a plugin crashes; moreover, it frees memory taken by ETU-Plugin immediately after the page where it was activated is unload (in Firefox, for example, this is not so, and it crashes if the plugin is activated on two pages). See the example: this pages contains a control panel for ETUD-Plugin. This panel can be added to any other web-page: drag this bookmarklet onto the bookmarks panel, and click on it when you need to display this panel on a certain web-page

Gaze for Web
GazeTTE - A Google Chrome extension that allows scrolling web pages by gaze.

To install, rename its extension from CRX to RAR and unzip it to some folder. Then go to the Chome's extensions tab, set the "Developer mode" flag on, and click "Load unpacket extension". Select the folder with the extension and click OK. Now the extesnion should be installed. The extension's icon appears next to the Chrome's "Options" button. When this icon is clicked, a popup page appears with 3 buttons: the first is for displaying ETU-Driver options, the second is for launching the eye-tracking system calibration routine, and the third is for toggling gaze data streaming into the extension. The extension has many adjustable setting (accessible via extension's options page - the link is on the Chome's extesions tab).

When a user navigates to any page, the extension adds to it 2 panels with 4 scrolling zones each. If the eye tracking is on, users can look at any arrow displayed on the panels to scroll a page up or down.

The GazeTTE extension was developed for two purposes: a) it demostrates how gaze can be streamed to any web-page using ETU-Driver + ETUD-Plugin, and 2) it can be used as a template to developed other extensions based on ETUD-Plugin for using gaze on web pages.

The extension was tested and optimized for Chrome v27. On v28 that is beta at the momemt of writing this text it does not function as designed.
