Research
My research area is Finite Model Theory. I am especially interested in
definability issues for generalized quantifiers on finite structures,
descriptive complexity theory, Ehrenfeucht-Fraisse games, and modal logic.
I am leading the
Tampere
Logic Group. The group organizes a
research
seminar together with the
Helsinki Logic Group.

Teaching
In the autumn 2012, I am teaching the course
Johdatus
matemaattiseen päättelyyn. In addition, I am supervising
Pro gradu
-seminaari.
In the spring 2013, I will teach the course Matemaattinen logiikka.
