Studying in UCIT

Each UCIT student, independently of the funding, studies according to the normal requirements set by the university, faculty and department that is to award his or her degree. The content of the studies is agreed with the student's supervisor. In addition, UCIT has appointed a support group, usually consisting of one or two additional supervisors, to support the student and his or her own supervisor in the thesis project.

To assure that graduates have the required skills for conducting research related to user-centered technology, UCIT has defined a set of elementary courses that are required from funded students. Taking them is highly advisable also for non-funded students.
